Quaker Room Lettings at Hertford Quaker Meeting
Description
The Quaker Room has access directly from the street.
In the entrance lobby is the store cupboard with 30 padded chairs, 20 plastic ones and a number of folding tables.
The main room is 28ft by 16ft with a polished wooden floor, four wall-mounted 2kw heaters with four controlling switches immediately on the left as you enter and eight electric sockets around the room.
There is a large whiteboard on one wall for water-based markers or blutak. Please do not use blutak or anything similar on the walls.
The door to the courtyard is a fire exit and should be kept clear. There are three toilets (female, male and wheelchair accessible with baby changing facility). These are accessed from the courtyard lobby as is the kitchen.
The kitchen is modern with crockery and cutlery, jug kettles, urn, cooker and microwave.
Cost of Hire
The minimum three hour period is £21 up to 5pm and £36 thereafter.
If the hire is long-term and payment is arranged by standing order, the rates are reduced by approximately one-third to £14 and £24 respectively.
Other Points
Hirers are issued with a key on payment of a £25 deposit. Duplicates cannot be cut by hirers.
No smoking or alcohol consumption is allowed in the Quaker Room or the courtyard.
